The Disapprover, The Inflictor of Retribution, The Retaliator. He is Al-Muntaqim, The One who victoriously prevails over His enemies and punishes them for their sins. He is most patient, but the time will come when justice must be given.

Al-Muntaqim (المنتقم) translates to “The Avenger” or “The One Who Takes Retribution.” This name signifies that Allah is the One who administers justice and takes retribution against wrongdoing when necessary. His punishment is based on perfect justice, not oppression.
