Mention in the Quran

A clear reference is found in Surah Al-Mujaadila (58:7):

“Have you not considered that Allah knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth? Never is there any whispering among three but that He is their fourth, nor among five but that He is their sixth, nor fewer than that or more but that He is with them, wherever they are. Then He will inform them of what they did on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, Allah is, of all things, Knowing.”
Quran | 58:7
