Al-Mujib (المجيب) translates to “The Responsive One” or “The Answerer of Prayers.” This name signifies that Allah is the One who responds to those who call upon Him. He answers supplications, fulfils needs, and responds to the sincere prayers of His servants according to His wisdom and mercy.

Derived from the Arabic root jim waw ba (ج و ب), this root includes meanings such as:
