The All-Aware

He who knows the reality of all things. His knowledge is complete, reaching even the deepest secrets. He understands every detail and knows the truth in every situation, both seen and unseen.

Name and Meaning

Al-Khabir (ٱلْخَبِيرُ) translates to “The All-Aware” or “The All-Acquainted.” This name signifies that Allah is the One whose knowledge encompasses the inner and outer realities of all things. He is fully aware of the most hidden secrets and the true nature of everything.

Root and Linguistic Significance

Derived from the Arabic root khā-bā-rā (خ ب ر), this root includes meanings such as:

یٰۤاَیُّہَا النَّاسُ اِنَّا خَلَقۡنٰکُمۡ مِّنۡ ذَکَرٍ وَّاُنۡثٰی وَجَعَلۡنٰکُمۡ شُعُوۡبًا وَّقَبَآئِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوۡا ؕ اِنَّ اَکۡرَمَکُمۡ عِنۡدَ اللّٰہِ اَتۡقٰکُمۡ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ عَلِیۡمٌ خَبِیۡرٌ
“O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.”
