Al-Azim (ٱلْعَظِيمُ) translates to “The Magnificent One”, “The Tremendous”, or “The Supreme Glory.” This name signifies that Allah is the One whose greatness is beyond comprehension. His reality is too vast to be fully grasped by the human mind. He is infinitely greater than His creation, and His throne (symbolic of His knowledge and authority) extends over the heavens and the earth, and their care does not burden Him. He is the One deserving of exaltation, glory, and purity from all imperfections.
