    Surah Ar-Rahmaan
    The Beneficent

    [Allah] the Most Merciful!

    P

It is He Who has taught the Qur'an.

    D

    He has created man:

    F

He has taught him speech [and intelligence].

    Y
    ٱلشَّمْسُ وَٱلْقَمَرُ بِحُسْبَانٍۢ

    The sun and the moon follow courses [exactly] computed;

    C
    وَٱلنَّجْمُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ يَسْجُدَانِ

And the herbs and the trees - both [alike] prostrate in adoration.

    A

And the Firmament has He raised high, and He has set up the Balance [of Justice],

    Q

In order that you may not transgress [due] balance.

    B

So establish weight with justice and fall not short in the balance.

    T

It is He Who has spread out the earth for [His] creatures:

    D
    فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةٌۭ وَٱلنَّخْلُ ذَاتُ ٱلْأَكْمَامِ

    Therein is fruit and date-palms, producing spathes [enclosing dates];

    F
    وَٱلْحَبُّ ذُو ٱلْعَصْفِ وَٱلرَّيْحَانُ

Also corn, with [its] leaves and stalk for fodder, and sweet-smelling plants.

    K

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?

    B

He created man from sounding clay like to pottery,

    K

And He created jinn from fire free of smoke:

    D

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?

    F

[He is] Lord of the two Easts and Lord of the two Wests:

    R

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?

    E

He has let free the two bodies of flowing water, meeting together:

    F

Between them is a Barrier which they do not transgress:

    R

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?

    D

Out of them come Pearls and Coral:

    C

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?

    N

And His are the Ships sailing smoothly through the seas, lofty as mountains:

    E

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?

    I

All that is on earth will perish:

    U

But will abide [for ever] the Face of your Lord, full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour.

    Y

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?

    D

Of Him seeks [its need] every creature in the heavens and on earth: every day in [new] Splendour does He [shine]!

    I

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?

    K

Soon shall We settle your affairs, O both you worlds!

    L

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?

    D

O you assembly of jinn and men! If it be you can pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, pass you! not without authority shall you be able to pass!

    E

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?

    B

On you will be sent (O you evil ones twain!) a flame of fire [to burn] and a smoke [to choke]: no defence will you have:

    H

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?

    R

When the sky is rent asunder, and it becomes red like ointment:

    J

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?

    A

On that Day no question will be asked of man or Jinn as to his sin.

    H

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?

    Z

[For] the sinners will be known by their marks: and they will be seized by their forelocks and their feet.

    E

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?

    J

This is the Hell which the Sinners deny:

    J

In its midst and in the midst of boiling hot water will they wander round!

    M

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?

    G

But for such as fear the time when they will stand before [the Judgement Seat of] their Lord, there will be two Gardens-

    Y

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?-

    V

Containing all kinds [of trees and delights];-

    N

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?-

    Q
    فِيهِمَا عَيْنَانِ تَجْرِيَانِ

    In them [each] will be two Springs flowing [free];

    A
    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?-

    U

In them will be Fruits of every kind, two and two.

    V

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?

    N

They will recline on Carpets, whose inner linings will be of rich brocade: the Fruit of Paradises will be near [and easy of reach].

    U

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?

    I

In them will be [Maidens], chaste, restraining their glances, whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;-

    N

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?-

    H

    Like to Rubies and coral.

    O

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?

    X

Is there any Reward for Good - other than Good?

    Y

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?

    C

And besides these two, there are two other Gardens,

    V

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?-

    K

Dark-green in colour [from plentiful watering].

    Y

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?

    W

In them [each] will be two Springs pouring forth water in continuous abundance:

    J

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?

    F

In them will be Fruits, and dates and pomegranates:

    C

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?

    H

In them will be fair [Companions], good, beautiful;-

    S

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?-

    C

Companions restrained [as to their glances], in [goodly] pavilions;-

    F

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?-

    Z

Whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;-

    E

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?-

    Z

Reclining on green Cushions and rich Carpets of beauty.

    O

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?

    L

Blessed be the name of your Lord, full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour.
